Hello everyone, I am Mahesh Bhatt, a surgeon, author, and public health consultant practicing medicine for the last 25 years in Uttarakhand, India. My work and research interests are in the areas of health systems and public health policy and advocacy. Since I am working in the Himalayas, one of the most climatically sensitive areas in the world, my work in public health automatically brings in the considerations and focus on climate change and global warming and their implications on health.
